Day 1: Tour of Tbilisi
Old Town Tbilisi, Historical Museum, SARAJISHVILI - brandy factory
In Tbilisi, the cosmopolitan city on the river Mtkvari. Visit of the most important sacred buildings of different religions: Anchiskhati church (6th century), Sioni cathedral (575- 639), Jewish synagogue, Turkish mosque, Metekhi church (13th century) The rock on the river Mtkvari, sulfur baths, Narikala fortress (4th century), giving you a nice view of the whole city. Walk along the path of the old Silk Road and Rustaveli Avenue. A visit to the Treasury in the Historical Museum (goldsmith's art from the time of the Golden Fleece). Afterwards, visit SARAJISHVILI - brandy factory.

Day 2: Tbilisi, Mtskheta, Kutaisi
Mtskheta Tour, Jvari Monastery, Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, Ubisa Church
After breakfast, drive to the ancient capital of Mtskheta at the intersection of Military and Silk Road. Visit the Jvari- (Cross) Monastery (585-605). Here on this hill, Nino, a monumental cross, was a triumphal sign of the Christianization of the country. Next visit to Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (11th century). The cathedral of the life-giving pillar-svetitskhoveli was for centuries the coronation and burial site of the Georgian monarchs and was regarded as the main church of the Georgian Orthodox Apostle Church. Then visit a Georgian market in the city of Mtskheta. On the way to Kutaisi Visit to the church of Ubisa (9th century) with particularly beautiful 13th century frescoes.

Day 3: Kutaisi, Batumi
Monastery complex Gelati, monastery of Motsameta
Visit the monastery complex Gelati (1106). The most beautiful sacral building complex consists of three churches, a bell tower and the building of the academy. The foundation stone for the Academy of Gelati was laid by King Davit VI in the year 1106. According to his plan there was to be a second Athens. The landscape is as magnificent as if Gelati had grown into nature. Afterwards visit the Monastery of Motsameta, the monastery of the Martyrs, near Gelati. The church (11th century) is dedicated to the brothers Constantine and Davit Mkheidze. Their relics lie in the tomb ark, which serves wooden lions as foot. According to an ancient popular belief, when visiting the church, the faithful crawl three times under the tomb of the martyrs to fulfill their desires. Afterwards drive to Batumi to the Black Sea. In the evening a walk on the beach promenade.

Day 4: Batumi - the Green City on the Black Sea coast
Batumi city tour, Sarpi, fortress Gonio
Visit the town of Batumi. With a cable-car ride to the highest elevation of the urban area - about 300 meters above sea level, from there a picturesque view of the whole city, the Black Sea and the mountain chains in the hinterland. In the afternoon drive to the Georgian-Turkish border Sarpi. On the way back visit Gonio fortress (formerly Apsaros fortress), probably the first Roman fortresss in Georgia. Later occupied the place the Byzantines and Ottomans. The history of the fortress is also closely linked to the Argonaut tale. Apsaros the son of King Colchis Aetes here is to be buried. According to legend, he was killed in the battle against the Greeks after Jason stole the Golden Fleece. Dinner at the local restaurant.

Day 5: Batumi, Anaklia
Port Town of Poti, Paleostomi Lake, Anaklia
Drive to the seaside resort of Anaklia through the port town of Poti, passing the Paleostomi Lake. At the end of the summer of 2011 Anaklia was declared a seaside resort. Modern architecture, a marina and the world's longest wooden bridge over the Enguri River have given the city a new splendor. Time for your own pleasure.

Day 6: Anaklia, Batumi
Mtirala National Park
Return to Batumi. Hiking in Mtirala National Park (about 6-7). The place is a nature reserve near Batumi. The entire protected territory is developed for tourism. There are signposted hiking trails. The nature reserve offers tourists a wonderful time in the green.
