Overnight in Tbilisi
Day 1: Tbilisi, Dveli Shuamta, Telavi, Gremi, Kvareli
Drive over the hill chains of the Gombori Mountains to Telavi, the capital of Kakheti, on the way visit Dveli Shuamta. The monastery complex includes a basilica of the 5th century as well as a mother god church with the frescoes of the 11th and 12th century and a dome church with a crypt, dating back to the 7th century. Afterwards travel to Telavi, visit the town of Telavi, and visit the Royal residence (Georgian batonis tsikhe). Afterwards, visit the castle of Gremi with the Archangels' Church (1565) on the terrace of a mountain ridge. Day 2: Kvareli, Bodbe, Sighnaghi, Tbilisi
After breakfast visit the museum of Ilia Chavchavadze. Afterwards visit the 7.7 km-long wine tunnel "Gvirabi", which was driven into the mountains of the Caucasus, then wine tasting. Afterwards drive to the fortified city of Sighnaghi- the city of love. First visit of the nunnery Bodbe with particularly beautiful frescoes of the 17th century. Here is a tomb of St. Nino. After sightseeing the city of Sighnaghi return to Tbilisi.
Overnight in Tbilisi (B / - / A)
Day 3: Tbilisi, Mtskheta, Kazbegi
Drive to the ancient capital Mtskheta at the intersection of military and Silk Road. Visit the Jvari- (Cross) Monastery (585-605). On this hill, Saint Nino has erected a monumental cross, a triumphal sign of the Christianization of the country. Next visit to Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (11th century). The cathedral of the life-giving column-swetitskhoveli was for centuries the coronation and burial site of the Georgian monarchs and was regarded as the main church of the Georgian Orthodox Apostle Church. Then visit a Georgian market in the city of Mtskheta. On the way to the Great Caucasus visit Ananuri fortress (16th- 18th century), which rises on a land above Zhinvali reservoir. Afterwards, ride over the ski resort Gudauri to Kazbegi.
Overnight in Kazbegi / Stepanzminda (B / - / A)
Day 4: Kazbegi, Gergeti’s Monastery, Darial Gorge, Tbilisi
After breakfast, hike (about 3-4 hours) to the Trinity Church Tsminda Sameba (14th century, about 2.000m). If you are standing in front of Kazbek (5.047m) and looking up to this impressive mountain, you will soon notice that it is here on a mythical mountain. According to the Amirani legend, it is the mountain to which Prometheus, which is called the Georgian legend Amirani, was smashed out of revenge for having stolen the fire from gods and brought them to people. In the afternoon, ride the Terek River into the gloomy and legendary Dariali Gorge to the border of the Russian Federation. Return to Tbilisi.
Overnight in Tiflis (B / - / A)
 Day 5: Tbilisi, Gori, Uplitsikhe, Kutaisi
Drive to Gori, visit the museum of Josef Jugashvili (on request), then visit the cave town Uplistsikhe. It is the oldest cave town in Georgia. Uplistsikhe has been inhabited since the end of the second century BC until the 18th century. The caravan route that led along the river Mtkvari made Uplistsikhe a rich city. The entire area now offers visitors a stroll along the ancient streets, the theater, a pharmacy, royal rooms, pagan temples and a Christian basilica church (about 2 hours). Drive to Kutaisi.

Day 6: Kutaisi, Borjomi, Akhaltsikhe
Visit the monastery complex Gelati (1106). The most beautiful sacral building complex consists of three churches, a bell tower and the building of the academy. The foundation stone for the Academy of Gelati was laid by King Davit IV in the year 1106. According to his plan there was to be a second Athens. The landscape is as magnificent as if Gelati had grown into nature. Afterwards drive to the spa town of Borjomi. The city is rich in nature and mineral waters. Visit the palace of the Russian Tsar family Romanov. Continue to Akhaltsikhe.
Overnight in Akhaltsikhe (B / - / A)
Day 7: Akhaltsikhe, Vardzia, Akhaltsikhe
Drive to the cave town Vardzia (12th-13th century). The complex of caves hidden in the rock, which was completely hidden in the rock, was divided into 3,000 cave dwellings, connected by a tunnel, stairs, terraces and galleries, as well as a church, library and bakeries (About 3 hours). Undoubtedly one of the highlights of any trip through Georgia. Return to Akhaltsikhe.

Day 8: Akhaltsikhe, Rabat, Tbilisi
Visit of the town of Akhaltsikhe and Rabat. On the site of the castle of Akhaltsikhe is the Rabat, a mosque built in 1752, converted into an orthodox church, the walls of a Koran school, the museum of history and art of the region. Return to Tbilisi.

Old Town Tbilisi, Historical Museum, SARAJISHVILI- Wine brandy factory
In Tbilisi, the cosmopolitan city on the river Mtkvari. Visit of the most important sacred buildings of different religions: Anchiskhati church (6th century), Sioni cathedral (575- 639), Jewish synagogue, Turkish mosque, Metekhi church (13th century) The rock on the river Mtkvari, sulfur baths, Narikala fortress (4th century), giving you a nice view of the whole city. Walk along the path of the old Silk Road and Rustaveli Avenue. A visit to the Treasury in the Historical Museum (goldsmith's art from the time of the Golden Fleece). Afterwards, visit SARAJISHVILI- Wine brandy factory.
