Bishop's Church Nikortsminda
The Episcopal Church Nikortsminda was built during the reign of King Bagrat III. Built in 1014. The church rises in the center of the village of the same name on a small hill. Nikortsminda is a splendid example of the medieval stonemasonry. The facades of the church are decorated with impressive ornaments. In addition to the scenes from the Gospel, the enchanted wall painting from the 17th century also represents far-reaching pre-Christian times of faith: lions, winged horses, mythical and real animals. The carved grape vine door of the main entrance is from the middle Ages. Nikortsminda is considered to be the crown of Georgian medieval architecture.

Resort shovi
Shovi is located in Upper Racha, in the gorge of river Chanchakhi. On the hollow plain 1600 meters above the sea level. It is encircled by high mountains and glaciers.  The climate of mountains, scenery and mineral waters are the means of curing numerous ailments of many diseases. About 15 mineral water springs have been discovered on the spa territory. The area is rich in various animal and bird species.

Georgian Military Road
Georgian Military road runs along the historic caravan route, it was already in antiquity as the most important connection between the north and the Orient. The small mountain path was already known in antiquity and had been hard-fought since the 2nd century BC.
The path was known and dangerous not only because of the natural events, but also because of the robber bands. In the fifth century, therefore, Vakhtang Gorgasali ordered powerful fortifications in the Darial Gorge. King Davit IV. Strengthened the Darial fortress.
Its importance was given to the route  from  Russian tsarisms period, which in the 19th century led to an important road connecting  Vladikavkaz and Tbilisi, under the name "Gruzinishe" (= Georgian) Military Road.
The old military road forms the low crossing of the Great Caucasus with the 2.395 m high cross-pass. The name of the pass is traced back to a wooden cross, which has been standing on the passport since 1803.
