Day 1: On the Silk Road
Tbilisi, Uplistsikhe, Kutaisi
Drive west to Kutaisi. First drive to Uplistsikhe. It is the oldest cave town in Georgia (since the end of the second century BC). The entire area now offers visitors a stroll along the ancient streets, the theater, a pharmacy, royal rooms, pagan temples and a Christian basilica church (about 2 hours). Continue to Kutaisi. In the evening small city tour in Kutaisi.

Day 2: Fabulous Swaneti
Enguri reservoir, churches Latali and Lenjeri
Today drive to Svaneti, into the inaccessible mountain region of the Great Caucasus. Short stopping at Enguri Lake, which is like a robbery on both sides of the narrow valley, stretches for about 35 kilometers. On the way visit the churches Latali and Lendjeri. Both early medieval buildings are painted with beautiful frescoes.

Day 3: The highest village in Europe
Mestia, Ushguli
Ushguli, "Lamaria" Church, visit the Ethnographical Museum.
The hike to the village of Ushguli is a journey through a landscape called Indian summer in Svaneti. But this is no longer a landscape, it is a total work of art. On the way visit Lagurka Church (10th century). A five-hour, six-hour, non-strenuous hike leads you to the origin of the legendary River Enguri. The mountain village of Ushguli, where time has stood still, and has a legendary place in Georgia, fascinates by its picturesque scenery in unspoiled nature. From here you can walk to the "Lamaria" church (10th century).

Day 4: The glacier world of the Great Caucasus
At the foot of the mountain -Shkhara
Today the hike goes to the foot of Mount Shkhara (8 km). With a height of 5200 m, Shkhara is the highest mountain in Georgia, as the backdrop of one of the most beautiful landscapes in the main ridge of the Great Caucasus. Back to Mestia

Day 5: Magical Zuruldi
Ski resort Hatsvali, mountain-Zuruldi
Today is the day for an easy hike towards Zuruldi. Drive or hike to the ski resort Hatsvali. Then walk to the mountain Zuruldi (about 8 km). When the weather is nice, you can enjoy the magical mountain panorama in "Zuruldi" café. Return by chairlift to Hatsvali, then to Mestia.

Day 6: Koruldi lakes
Hike to Koruldi lakes
Day hike over alpine pastures to Koruldi glacier lakes (about 7-8 hrs.). Here you can enjoy a beautiful view of Mestia and snow-capped glacier chains. Back to Mestia

Day 7: Return to Tbilisi
Mestia, Tbilisi
Return via Sugdidi to Kutaisi and from there to Tbilisi.
