Day 1: Tbilisi Tour
Old Town Tbilisi, Ethnographic Museum
In Tbilisi, the cosmopolitan city on the river Mtkvari. Visit of the most important sacred buildings of different religions: Anchiskhati church (6th century), Sioni cathedral (575- 639), Jewish synagogue, Turkish mosque, Metekhi church (13th century), sulfur baths, Narikala fortress (4th century), with a nice view over the whole city. Walk along the path of the old Silk Road and Rustaveli Avenue. Further visit Sameba Cathedral - the Holy Trinity Cathedral (2004), which is named as the building of the millennium. In the afternoon visit the Ethnographic Museum at the Turtle Lake.

Day 2: Tbilisi, Mtskheta, Borjomi
Mtskheta Tour, Jvari Monastery, Svetitskhoveli Cathedral
After breakfast, drive to the ancient capital Mtskheta. Visit Jvari- (Cross) Monastery (585-605). Next visit Svetizchoveli Cathedral (11th century). The cathedral of the life-giving pillar-Svetizchoveli was for centuries the coronation and burial site of Georgian monarchs and was regarded as the main church of Georgian Orthodox Apostle Church. Then visit a Georgian market in the city of Mtskheta. Afterwards drive to the spa town of Borjomi. The city is rich in nature and mineral waters. Visit the public spa gardens where you can taste fresh, tasty “Bordjomi mineral water” from the Catherine's source. For the daytime the ride with a cable car built from the Soviet era goes up to an amusement park.

Day 3: Borjomi, Vardzia, Akhaltsikhe
Cave town Wardzia
Drive south to the cave town Vardsia (12th-13th century). The cave complex, hidden in the rock on several levels, above the Mtkvari River, was completely hidden in the mountain, consisting of 3,000 cave dwellings connected by tunnels, stairs, terraces and galleries, as well as a church, library and bakeries (About 3 hours). Undoubtedly one of the highlights of any trip through Georgia. Return to Akhaltsikhe.
Overnight in Ackhaltsikhe (B / - / A)
Day 4: Akhaltsikhe, Paravani Lake, Tbilisi
Rabat, Paravani Lake, Foka Monastery
After breakfast, visit the Rabat fortress complex. On the site of the Akhaltsikhe castle there is the Rabat, a mosque built in 1752 and converted into an orthodox church, the walls of a Koran school, the museum of history and art of the region. Afterwards, you will drive through the high Caucasus high pasture, passing Paravani and several volcanic lakes and Armenian villages. On the way visit Foka Monastery near Paravani Lake. It is to be built at the place where St. Nino has built the vine cross. According to tradition, St. Nino is said to have entered the country through Paravani to Christianize Georgians.
