Day 1: Tiflis and Mtskheta Tour
Drive to the ancient capital Mtskheta at the intersection of Military and Silk Road. Visit Jvari- (Cross) Monastery (585-605). Next visit Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (11th century). The cathedral of the life-giving pillar-svetitskoveli was for centuries the coronation and burial site of Georgian monarchs and was regarded as the main church of the Georgian Orthodox Apostle Church. Then visit Georgian market in the city of Mtskheta. Afterwards visit the old town of Tbilisi: Antichiskhati church (6th century) Sioni cathedral (575- 639), sulfur baths, Narikala fortress (4th century). Walk along the old Silk Road.

 Day 2: Tbilisi, Gori, Kutaisi
Gori, the museum of Joseph Jugashviili, cave town Uplistsikhe
Drive to Gori, visit the museum of Joseph Jugashvili (on request), then visit the cave town Uplistsikhe. It is the oldest cave town in Georgia. Uplistsikhe has been inhabited since the end of the second century BC until the 18th century. The caravan route that led along the Mtkvari made Uplistsikhe a rich city. The entire area now offers visitors a stroll along the ancient streets, the theater, a pharmacy, royal rooms, pagan temples and a Christian basilica church (about 2 hours).

Day 3: The colonial lowland train, Mestia
Zugdidi-Dadiani Palace, the Great Caucasus
Today the trip goes to the provincial town of Mestia, while visiting the Dadiani Palace in Zugdidi. The palace includes a castle with court church and a botanical garden. Since 1921, the city "Museum of History and Folklore" has housed over 41,000 objects from the princely family Dadiani.

Day 4: Mestia, Ushguli
Lagurka Church, Ushguli, "Lamaria" Church, Ethnographic Museum
The journey or hike to the village of Ushguli is a journey through a landscape called Indian summer in Svaneti. But this is no longer a landscape, it is a total work of art. On the way visit the Lagurka Church (10th century). A five-hour, six-hour, non-strenuous hike leads you to the origin of the legendary River Enguri. The mountain village of Ushguli, where time has stood still, and has a legendary place in Georgia, fascinates by its picturesque scenery in unspoiled nature. From here, walk to the "Lamaria" church (10th century), visit the Ethnographic Museum.

Day 5: Ushguli, Mestia, Kutaisi
The Machubi Family Museum, Latali Church
Walking through the provincial town of Mestia. Visit Machubi Family Museum, where you will get to know the old life, customs and culture of Svans. Machubi is a large space next to a traditional defensive tower. Until the end of the 19th century, Machubi served as a common living space for humans and animals. On the way to Kutaisi visit the Church of the Savior (11th century) in the Svan village of Latali.

Day 6: Kutaisi, Tbilisi
Prometheus Cave, Ubisa Church
 After breakfast visit Prometheus Cave. She is at least 50,000 years old and one of the largest in the world. The grotto is rich in numerous formations and includes various types of stalactites, stalagmites, curtains, petrified waterfalls, cave pearls, underground rivers and lakes. During the visit, visitors will walk 1.4 km on foot. At the end you can enjoy a 280-meter boat trip on the underground lake in the cave. On the way back to Tiflis, visit the Ubisa church (9th century) with particularly beautiful 13th century frescoes.
